Bass Fishing Quick Tips

  • In an endless meadow of vegetation look for areas with more than one kind of grass growing in the same spot (Colton Tucker)

  • When fishing a weed bed with a spinnerbait or crankbait, cast on top and keep the bait clipping the tops of the weeds.

  • Look for structure with your electronics within large weed beds. Humps in a large flat can concentrate fish. (Roland Martin)

  • Make short casts or pitches when fishing heavy vegetation. That will help in detecting bites and getting the fish in the boat. (Tommy Martin)

Fishing Internet Ad Agency Announces Launch of Mobile Fishing Guide Search Site Use uour mobile device and FishingGuide.Mobi to locate fishing guides in all 50 states Here's the deal... you're on the road. Maybe it's a family vacation... maybe it's a business trip. Whatever the reason, you find yourself in an unknown city with an afternoon, or even a full day to kill. Perhaps you simply can't handle another day lounging on the beach or by the pool. The spouse gives you a "hall pass" for the day and there's a whole ocean out your door, or you drove by a lake or river on the way into town. You remember gazing longingly at a boat on the water. What to do? Trying to figure out the local fishing scene on your own is definitely too time-consuming. Besides, your tackle is at home in the garage. You know the answer to your dilema is a fishing guide. In days gone by you might have sought out the nearest boat dock or bait shop to start the lengthy process of tracking down someone willing and able to escort you on local waters. Those days are gone. Now you simply reach for your hip, whip out your trusty mobile device, access the Internet and type in: FishingGuides.Mobi Sometimes we're prone to think that technology has gone too far. You won't be thinking that way when, in mere minutes, you've found a hotshot fishing guide and set up a perfect fishing trip to feed your passion for the water. FishingGuides.Mobi lists nearly 900 fishing guides and fishing services in all 50 states, and the list grows daily. FishingGuides.Mobi follows in the footsteps of the first mobile web site, BigFishTackle.Mobi, developed by Predatorial Advertising Associates, L.L.C. Mobile web sites are primarily text-based without heavy graphics to slow you down when you're "going mobile." “The Internet has allowed us to provide anglers with an unprecedented information and resource platform,” said Mike Hodgdon, Vice President of Operations, Predatorial Advertising Associates. “The .mobi domain takes our ability to provide anglers with the most accurate, beneficial and timely information to a whole new level.” Traditionally, anglers have relied on magazines, TV and PC-based Web sites for information about their fishing area or the fish they're trying to catch... or the guide they're trying to find. But everyone, including fishermen, are becoming more and more mobile. Worldwide, there are more digital mobile phones than televisions and PCs combined. According to Wikipedia, 80 percent of the world's population enjoys mobile phone coverage and that's expected to increase to 90 percent by 2010. The overwhelming majority of those phones will also have access to the Internet. Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C. is riding the crest of that wave on behalf of outdoorsmen. As a provider of niche internet business advertising services for the fishing, hunting, sports and outdoor industries, it is one of the first companies to use the .mobi domain - the first and only Internet domain for mobile phones. The domain makes the Internet available on practically any mobile phone with an integrated browser, no matter what carrier the consumer uses. About Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C. Fishing Internet Ad Agency Announces New Web Site With Targeted Ad Opportunity

Fishing Internet Ad Agency Announces New Web Site With Targeted Ad Opportunity www.ChattanoogaFishingForum.com provides potential for millions of ad impressions First Light Net, owned by Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C., has added another website to its already lengthy list of fishing, hunting, outdoor and sports industries Internet sites. Chattanooga Fishing Forum (www.ChattanoogaFishingForum.com), better known as CFF among hardcore users, has skyrocketed in popularity since first coming online in 2005. With 2,400 registered users and tens of thousands of guest visitors, CFF continues to grow on a daily basis. Various advertisers' banners displayed on nearly a half-million page views in January 2008.... double the traffic from January 2007. Every person looks at an average of 13 pages, and ad banners, on each visit. CFF was the brainchild of computer programmer David Haun. Haun, an avid angler from Chattanooga, Tenn., was frustrated by difficulties he experienced in learning about local fishing opportunities. He was inspired by many Internet fishing forums he found in coastal areas. He started CFF on a whim, never realizing it might grow to the extent it has today. The site grew too large for Haun to manage alone, so Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C. stepped in. Based in Colorado, the company's COO, Michael Hodgdon, says "the Chattanooga Fishing Forum will add a significant percentage to the 17 million ad impressions all of our web sites provide on a monthly basis." More importantly says Hodgdon, CFF fits perfectly within the company's target demographic. "During the course of the acquisition, Mr. Haun made his commitment to education, conservation, and a high quality fishing forum clear," said Hodgdon. "We are committed to living up to the level of excellence CFF users have come to know from him." CFF prides itself on providing a family-oriented, learning environment. One user who goes by the screen name PaperGod writes - "I just wanted to take a minute to comment on the excellent quality of this site and the posts contained here. I don't know of any other fishing site with this combination of quality and quantity of reporting anywhere and I am constantly looking for good sources of timely fishing information. Like most of you, I spend a TON of money on this hobby ... the thing that is impossible to buy is up-to-date local knowledge and here it is, free for the asking." While the site carries a very specific geographic name, it's unique flavor reaches far beyond the confines of Southeast Tennessee. Users from throughtout the region are regulars on CFF... including Atlanta, Ga., Huntsvillle, Ala., Knoxville, Tenn., Nashville, Tenn. and points much farther away.... with the CFF reach extending daily. Here is a post from an angler who goes by the screen name of "dschlact," - I just wanted to let you all know what an impressive community you have here on this forum. I live in Middle Tennessee and come here every so often when we are preparing for an annual trip to Parksville (Lake). I always get great tips on fishing Parskville and end up spending WAY TOO MUCH TIME reading many of the other posts...I am just so impressed reading all of the posts, seeing how close you all are, how many of you fish together and work to spread the love of the sport to your children and to others in the community - you are all a truly impressive group of people." 8 Ball from Knoxville writes, "Just found out about this site and I am very impressed with what I'm seeing." Hodgdon says his company owns a network of over 350 fishing, hunting, sports and outdoors websites. He said however, "CFF is filled with knowledgeable fishermen that are friendly and the most helpful people you'll meet online." First Light Net will develop CFF with targeted advertising to end users. Hodgdon says "ChattanoogaFishingForum.com was a natural acquisition due to its natural appeal to search engines and strong branding potential. By targeting highly relevant and broad search term domain names and web sites for acquisition we strengthen our position as the outdoor companies best choice for Internet advertising and promotion," said Hodgdon. "This transaction meets all of our key acquisition criteria, and has specific catalysts for growth." About Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C.
